Frequently Asked Questions

  • We recommend starting with one of our tried and true dry mixes! All you need is wet ingredients and you’re on your way to 40/44 essential nutrients!

  • If you’re making bread or something rustic we recommend starting with the bread blend - white or wheat depending on your preference! For muffins, cakes and cookies, we recommend soft white!

  • By default, none of our flours or mixes are ever sifted. All the benefits of the bran & germ are what got us started in the first place and we want to share all of that goodness with you! We can sift flour on request, depending on quantity there may be an added charge.

  • All our flours are 100% certified organic and glyphosate free!

  • While you can often swap 1:1, be sure you are measuring in grams rather than cups as flour weight can vary. also keep in mind that the autolyse period makes a huge difference!

  • Fresh milled flour is best used right away to take advantage of all nutrients however storing it in the freezer for up to 6 months or fridge for up to two weeks is a great way to preserve those nutrients also!
